Conditioned patterns that cause problems can be reduced when a person becomes more aware in the present moment as certain attitudinal qualities are cultivated during practice. Mindfulness training can help increase self-awareness and emotional intelligence, improve relationships, promote acceptance, cope with stress and pain, improve attention, reduce mental health symptoms, improve physical health, and result in greater life satisfaction.

Life Coaching and Professional Consultation sessions are solution focused and based on specific client generated goals. Life Coaching and Professional Consultation involves an initial assessment that identifies aspects such as stage of change, readiness for change, motivation, strengths and resources, growth areas and barriers, and concrete objectives. Professional Consultation may also include an assessment of a work site. Common focus areas include being a more effective caregiver, project and event planning, conflict resolution, increasing productivity, improving relationships, or increasing personal/job satisfaction.
Telemental Health is a service that uses technology to provide mental health services from a distance without having to meet in-person in an office. Clients may chose to use messaging (similar to emailing or texting), live text chat, telephone, or video. There are a variety of technologies that make this safe, confidential, and affordable. As of mid-2016, at least 32 states (including Missouri) have passed telehealth “Parity Laws” that require private insurers to cover remote sessions similar to in-person sessions.
Neurofeedback, also called “EEG Biofeedback” and “Neurotherapy,” is an intervention that involves helping a person learn how to modify their brainwave patterns. The training can improve a wide range of symptoms and optimize brain functioning to enhance peak performance. Neurofeedback can be an alternative or complimentary service with traditional talk therapy and medication treatment.
