What services did your counselor provide?
Mindfulness Training. Typically includes informational learning, guided practices, and skills coaching.
EAP or Short-Term Services. This is usually 2-8 sessions and is solution-focused.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. CBT includes strategies for changing thoughts or beliefs and behaviors.
Insight Talk Therapy. A less structured mode in which client and counselor have an open conversation about desired changes.
Family or Child Counseling. Involves more than one family member or is focused on a child.
